We believe that fellowship and community are vital to the Christian life. Here are Crossroads we have monthly events that bring families and believers together.
On Sunday at 10:20 am, you can expect a time of worship, prayer, and a message from the Bible that will inspire and challenge you, as well as an opportunity to connect with other members of the community.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe in the verbal, inspiration of the Old and the New Testament, that they compose the whole of the Word of God. The scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed. They are our final authority. The Bible is our complete and divine revelation of God to Man. The scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning. The King James Version of the Bible shall be the official and only English-language translation used by Crossroads Baptist Church. (II Timothy 3:16-1 7; II Peter 1:20-21)
The Sovereign God
God is a Person, eternally existing, as a Trinity in unity – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – three Persons and yet one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; I Corinthians 8:6)
The Son of God
Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a sinless man to redeem us. He was born of a virgin and is true God and true man. (Luke 1:30-55; John 1:1-15; Philippians 2:5-8)
The Local Church
The local church is a group of believers baptized by immersion in water, banded together for edification, exhortation, and evangelism as commanded by Christ in the Great Commission; preaching the Gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:15; I Corinthians 12:12; Ephesians 1:22-23)
The Sin of Man
Man was created in the image of God but fell through sin, bringing not only physical death but also spiritual death or eternal separation from God. Now all of mankind exists as a fallen race with an inherited sinful nature. (Genesis 2:16; Genesis 3:16-19; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 6:23)
The Sacrifice of Christ
We believe that salvation is the gift of God, brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, (whose precious blood was shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of our sins). In order to be saved, sinners must be born again; that the new birth is a new creation in Christ Jesus, that it is instantaneous and not a process. (John 1: 12; Ephesians 1:7, 2:8-10; I Peter 1: 18-19)
The End Times
Jesus Christ Himself will soon come again in the air to catch up His Church to reward their service. The unbelievers left behind will go through a period called the Tribulation, after which Christ will return to the Earth to set up His Kingdom of one thousand years of righteous rule. After this, the unbelievers of all ages will stand at the Great White Throne to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, separated from God forever, while the believers spend eternity in the fullness of joy in Heaven with the Lord. (Matthew 24:29-42; I Thessalonians 4:16-18; Revelation 19:11-20:13)
At our church, we believe that children and youth are an integral part of our community, and we are committed to providing them with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can learn and grow in their faith.
For newcomers, there is a class at our church designed to provide an introduction to our community, our beliefs, and our values. This class is 5 weeks long and typically offered to anyone new to our church and interested in learning more about what we stand for and how we operate.
We believe every person deserves a chance to thrive and grow in the Lord at Crossroads Baptist Church. We offer an adult Sunday School class specifically designed for our Special Needs Ministry to reach out to those with physical, cognitive, and/or emotional disabilities. This class starts at 9 am on Sunday Mornings.
